Looking for a Content Intern!

About

The Worklife Balance helps creative people perform at their best with both People & Culture support for creative companies and 1:1 coaching for young professionals.

To support the growth of The Worklife Balance, we’re looking for a Content Intern who’s excited to create, experiment and take real ownership of our social channels.

What will you do?

This is not a “fetch coffee & plan meetings” kind of internship. You’ll actually pull the content wagon (with our guidance, of course). Our socials deserve more love, creativity and consistency and you’ll play a big role in shaping that.

You will:

  • Come up with content ideas for our social channels, website and newsletter

  • Create and manage our content calendar

  • Create visual & written content (stories, carousels, reels)

  • Think along on content strategy: what do we post, when, why, and for who?

  • Experiment with formats, tone of voice and storytelling

  • You’ll have a lot of creative freedom and real responsibility, with regular check-ins, feedback and sparring.

What’s in it for you?

  • A creative internship with a lot of freedom and autonomy

  • 1:1 guidance and Personal coaching sessions (yes, really 😉)

  • Space to develop your own ideas and creative style

  • An internship allowance (obviously)

  • A fully remote internship so you can work from anywhere, with regular check-ins and close collaboration

  • Based in Barcelona this winter? Then we can meet IRL ☕

  • Potential involvement in a new creative project where designskills, photography & visual thinking would be a big plus

Who are you?

You:

  • Are studying communication, media, marketing, creative business or something similar

  • Are enrolled at an EU-based educational institution that can sign an internship agreement

  • Have native-level proficiency in English

  • Have excellent attention to details and can work securely

  • Are comfortable working with a lot of freedom and responsibility

  • Enjoy both planning (like content calendars) and creating

  • Are into social media, content creation and visual storytelling

  • Feel confident working with Canva (and big bonus points if you also use Adobe Creative Cloud like Photoshop / InDesign / Illustrator / Lightroom)

  • Have an affinity with design, branding and aesthetics (and even better if you’re actually good at it)

  • Are curious, proactive and not afraid to share ideas

Practical info

  • Mainly remote

  • Flexible hours, aligned with your studies

  • Minimum of 4 months, ideally 5 months

  • Start date flexible

Is this you?

Send a DM, voicenote, short video or email with a short intro about yourself, your studies, and why this internship feels like a fit. If you have examples of your work even better!
